TWO Londoners battling to become Sir Alan Sugar's apprentice face their final television showdown tonight.

Saira Khan and Tim Campbell are vying for the position as Sir Alan's right hand man and the £100,000 salary that goes with it.

The pair are the two contestants left on the BBC2 show, The Apprentice, which has become a smash with viewers.

Sir Alan's no-nonsense approach has seen 14 contestants ejected from the show, leaving Tim and Saira for tonight's final.

Tim, 26, a manager with the Tube, is hoping his love of boxing will help him to land the killer punch.

He said: "Sir Alan has a lot he could teach me and perhaps I might know a few things that I could teach him as well."

Nottingham-born Saira, 34, runs marathons, loves diving, and speaks four Asian languages.

She said: "I hope that as an Asian woman I will give other Asian women the inspiration to go out there and do well in business."

The Apprentice will be shown on BBC2 at 9pm tonight.
