Green Guardian readers are being offered massive savings on tickets to London’s top green and ethical lifestyle show, UK AWARE 2010, which is taking place at Olympia next month.
The event, on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17 is the perfect place to check-out thousands of eco products and services ranging from cars to computers, from fashion to food and from travel to advice services - all under one roof.
In addition, there are dozens of free seminars from leading environmental organisations, which in past years has included Transition Towns, Greenpeace, Forum for the Future and Global Sustainability Challenge.
Other highlights include its Green Machines Expo, giving you the chance to see the latest low carbon transport solutions, the Green Business Zone, which supports budding entrepreneurs as well as established green companies, an eco fashion show and a kids area where there is fun for all the family.
There is even a free clothes swap shop where you can bring along unused clothes and leave with a new wardrobe.
Over 15,000 people are expected to attend UK AWARE, now in its third year, and Green Guardian is proud to be a media sponsor.
The show is the brainchild of South London firefighter Danny Carnegie who was so baffled about how to make positive changes in his life that he decided to cash in his pension so he could bring sustainable business and consumers face to face.
Danny said: "UK AWARE is now firmly established as the UK's 'must attend' green event. With sexy green supercars, beauty makeovers, fashion shows, a kids area, business advice and thousands of green products and services on show, UK AWARE 2010 will offer the complete solution for contemporary sustainable living.”
Tickets to the show are £15 on the door and £10 when purchased online, but Green Guardian readers can book them in advance for just £6, just click HERE to be taken to the ticket booking website (opens in a new window).
UK AWARE is donating all its profits from ticket sales to the charity Global Action Plan which provides environmental expertise for everyone from schools to local communities.
