A guide for the China in London season
	Chinese New Year celebrations have started for 2008 - the Year of the Rat. London is hosting some of the biggest celebrations outside of Asia this year with its China in London season.

	For the children
	Get the kids into some culture with a ribbon and dance workshop. The Polka Theatre is also launching a new story writing project and children are urged to get their pens out. Some workshops will be messy so wear suitable clothing.

Learn about Chinese brush and ink painting or the techniques behind the country's painting and calligraphy.

	Music
	The Five Circles Festival brings rap, hip hop and film score gigs while a range of classical concerts is performed at the Royal Festival Hall.
